Help name Kitchener’s first electric Zamboni

This winter, Kitchener’s first electric Zamboni ice resurfacing machine will be taking the ice at the rink outside Kitchener City Hall. We need residents’ help naming it to welcome it to the neighbourhood!

You can submit up to five creative and clever names at EngageWR.ca/Zamboni until November 30, 2025. City staff will select the most creative names from those submitted and give the community the opportunity to vote on the winning name in early December.

The winning names will be displayed on the electric ice resurfacing machine servicing the rink at City Hall.
