Golf Fore Life program supports individuals living with dementia
A unique and supportive recreation program is returning to Doon Valley Golf Course this summer. Golf Fore Life offers individuals living with dementia the opportunity to enjoy the game of golf in a welcoming, social, and supportive environment—while also inviting community members to volunteer as caddies.
Golf Fore Life is designed to promote physical activity, connection, and enjoyment of the outdoors. Participants will play Doon Valley’s Classic 9-hole course once a week over the course of a 9- or 10-week program. Each participant is paired with a trained volunteer caddie who provides one-to-one support throughout the round, helping ensure a safe, positive, and engaging experience. The program runs Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 11:30 a.m. starting June 23 and June 25.
Registration is now open. Sign up on ActiveNet using program codes 214706 and 214707.
