Find your audience through new Community Connects program
This summer, organizations across Kitchener will have a new way to reach residents.
The City has launched Community Connects, a new initiative that will give local non-profit and charitable organizations a chance to share their mission, connect with residents and add to the overall atmosphere of City events at no cost.
Organizations accepted to participate will be given space to connect with residents, encourage engagement, and highlight the organization’s community impact, all while providing an activity for the community to enjoy.
Interested organizations are invited to apply for summer events by the following dates:
- East Coast Kitchen Party - apply by June 9
- Canada Day - apply by June 10
- Cruising on King - apply by June 5
- Wayback Festival - apply by July 3
- KidsPark - apply by July 31
- Endless Summer - apply by August 16
For applicant guidelines and to apply, please see the City’s online form.
Land acknowledgement
The City of Kitchener is situated on the traditional territory of the Chonnonton, Anishinaabeg, and Haudenosaunee Peoples. We recognize our responsibility to act as stewards for the land and honour the original caretakers who came before us. Our community is enriched by the enduring knowledge and deep-rooted traditions of the diverse First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Peoples who live in Kitchener today.
