Entertainer applications open for Kitchener's 30th annual Christkindl Market

The City of Kitchener is accepting applications from entertainers for the 2026 Christkindl Market, which is celebrating 30 years as one of Kitchener’s most cherished and well-attended annual events. In recognition of its popularity and to mark this milestone year, the festival will expand to two consecutive weekends in 2026: December 3-6 and December 10-13.

Entertainers should deliver enjoyable, family-friendly performances filled with holiday joy. The City is looking for a variety of entertainers, including song, dance, instrumental, theatre and children’s performers. Accepted performers will be required to complete up to a 45-minute set in the heated Musik Haus tent.

Applications are being accepted until Friday, August 14, 2026 using the City’s online application form.
