Eat on the street in Downtown Kitchener’s East End to celebrate the relaunch of King StrEATery

Bring your appetite and gather your friends, family and neighbours for King StrEATery, a free community celebration of food, local businesses and downtown fun that is returning to Kitchener Sunday, September 27th from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

This pedestrian-friendly event will transform King Street East between Eby Street and Cedar Street, as well as the Kitchener Market piazza, into a lively festival grounds featuring over 15 food trucks, local food vendors, the Love Local market showcasing more than 15 local artisans and entrepreneurs, live entertainment, games and family-friendly activities. 

King StrEATery is a chance to explore Downtown Kitchener, discover unique local businesses and enjoy a day filled with delicious eats, community connection and plenty of fun. Downtown businesses will also be offering special promotions and experiences throughout the festival. 

Admission is free and visitors are encouraged to take transit, walk, cycle or take advantage of free Sunday parking at the Kitchener Market parking garage.
