Cruising on King Street returns to Downtown Kitchener this Friday

Kitchener’s biggest street party of the year is back! Classic cars and live entertainment return to King Street on Friday, July 8 from 6 to 10 p.m. All vehicles will begin the event parked between Francis and Frederick Streets in a traditional “car show” format with live music spread throughout the event – rain or shine! This year, Cruising on King Street will not include a Victoria Park element or parade. While you’re downtown, visit a local patio, restaurant, or pub to enjoy a meal and more entertainment.

Attendees are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles to stay hydrated. The public washrooms adjacent to Carl Zehr Square will be available as of Friday afternoon and a cold-water refill station can be found through the same doors. Additional washrooms and cold-water refill stations can also be found inside City Hall during the event.
