City splash pads open for a fun-filled season

The City of Kitchener is gearing up ready for another summer season and city splash pads are open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. New this year, a new water play feature will also be available in Vanier Park, 335 Vanier Dr.

City splash pads and water features open include:

  • Breithaupt Park splash pad, 806 Union St.
  • Carl Zehr Square splash pad, 200 King St. W. (7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.)
  • Centreville Chicopee splash pad, 141 Morgan Ave. (closed on Wednesdays between noon and 4 p.m.)
  • Chandler Mowat splash pad, 222 Chandler Dr.
  • Doon Pioneer Park splash pad, 150 Pioneer Dr.
  • Kingsdale splash pad, 78 Wilson Ave.
  • RBJ Schlegel Park splash pad, 1664 Huron Rd.
  • Vanier Park water play feature, 335 Vanier Dr.
  • Victoria Park splash pad, Courtland Ave. W.

Children under the age of 9 using City splash pads are required to be supervised at all times.
