City of Kitchener snow plows get cool new names
The City of Kitchener wants to thank all the residents who took part in the snow plow naming contest and helped us bring some fun and levity to the winter operations. Over 2,500 suggested names flooded in during the last blast of winter earlier this year in March – many of them clever, funny, and creative.
Your votes helped us select the top six names, and we are excited to present the names that will be displayed on six of the City of Kitchener's snow plows for the 2023/2024 winter season:
- Snow-Be-Gone Kenobi
- Brrrlin
- Plowasaurus Rex
- Ziggy Zaggy Ziggy Zaggy Plow Plow Plow
- Plowabunga
- Mr. Plow
Keep an eye out for these snow plows as they hit the streets in the winter and work hard to keep our roads safe and clear.
