City of Kitchener presents September's Virtual LoveMyHood Grant Writing Workshop

Do you have an idea for a neighbourhood project that will bring people together? Looking for support to help make it happen? 

The City of Kitchener's LoveMyHood Matching Grant helps residents turn their ideas into reality by providing funding for resident-led projects and neighbourhood initiatives. Ideas like street parties, little libraries, community art or neighbourhood greening, residents take the lead to create more connection in their neighbourhoods, and the City provides support along the way! 

If you're interested in applying for a LoveMyHood Matching Grant but aren't sure where to start, join us for a free grant writing workshop and learn how to build a strong application.

   Virtual workshop on Zoom

Whether you already have a project idea or are just interested in learning more about the LoveMyHood Matching Grant, this interactive session will guide you through the application process, share tips for success and provide an opportunity to ask questions.

LoveMyHood Matching Grant applications are due on October 29, 2026. 

Interested in applying, but can't make the workshop? Email lovemyhood@kitchener.ca to be paired with a Project Coordinator to support you through the grant process.
