Due to the internet and telephone outage, these service changes are in place at Kitchener City Hall.

Cash or cheque payments only:
- Marriage licences
- Business licences
- Building permits
- Commissioning of documents
Planning services available:
- Document or payment drop-offs
- Commissioning for planning-related documents
Waterloo Region Small Business Centre services available:
- Advisory services
Kitchener Utilities:
- Phone lines and appointment booking system down
- Scheduled appointments will be cancelled
Other City facilities (cash or cheque payment):
- Kitchener Market Food Hall vendors are cash-only
- Kitchener Golf courses
- Pools
- Community centres
Not available:
- Debit and credit payments for all services
- Program registration assistance
- Sportsfield payments
- Planning/development questions or zoning inquiries
- Any other Waterloo Region Small Business Centre services
NOTICE: Due to the nationwide Rogers outage, the phone lines are down for our contact centre and Kitchener Utilities dispatch centre. If you have an emergency, please call 911 from a landline or cell outside of the Rogers network. Stay tuned for updates.
