City facilities have modified hours over the holidays (1)
City of Kitchener facilities and buildings will have modified hours for the holidays.
CITY HALL
Kitchener city hall offices will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 12/noon on Friday, Dec. 24, reopening on Wednesday, Dec. 29 at 8:30 a.m. and until 5 p.m. City hall will close again on Friday, Dec. 31 at 12/noon and reopen again on Tuesday, Jan. 4 at 8:30 a.m.
KITCHENER MARKET
The Kitchener Market will be open on Dec. 23 from 7 a.m.-2 p.m. for a special Thursday farmers’ market. The Saturday Market will be closed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1 and is scheduled to reopen on Jan. 8, 2022.
THE AUD, ARENAS, POOLS AND COMMUNITY CENTRES
The Aud and community arenas and the Lyle S. Hallman Foundation indoor track at Activa Sportsplex are closed Dec. 24, 25 & 26. On Dec. 24, Activa will be open until 12/noon for scheduled rentals.
All indoor pools are closed Dec. 24, 25, 26, 31 and Jan. 1.
Budd Park will be closed on Dec. 25 and on Jan. 1. Budd Park will reopen for scheduled rentals on Jan. 3.
All community centres will be open until noon on Dec. 24 and Dec. 31 and closed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
KITCHENER PUBLIC LIBRARY
All Kitchener Public Library locations will close at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 24 until Wednesday, Dec. 28 at 9 a.m.
