About Fitness in the Forest
Envisioned by a group of dedicated Rosemount-Stanley Park residents, this innovative fitness trail features five stations designed by personal trainers. Each stop has a sign illustrating how to safely complete recommended exercises and a QR code linking to instructional videos.
This full body workout empowers community members of all fitness levels to connect with nature while improving their cardiovascular, physical and mental health. The team hopes that by introducing this free resource, neighbours will be inspired to explore ways they can incorporate movement into their regular routines that don’t require a gym membership or expensive equipment.
Fitness in the Forest was made possible through the City of Kitchener’s LoveMyHood Matching Grant program.
