Celebrate your loved ones at the annual walk to remember

Come together with the support of your community to celebrate the life of a loved one by releasing a beautiful painted lady butterfly in their memory.

The annual walk to remember memorial event is taking place on Sunday, Sept. 11, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Dedication Centre at Williamsburg Cemetery, 1541 Fischer Hallman Rd, Kitchener.

Join us for refreshments, live music, and kids' crafts from 1 to 2 p.m., followed by the opening ceremony. The butterfly release and walk will begin at 2:30 p.m.

The event is organized by Bereaved Families of Ontario – Midwestern Region (BFO-MR) in partnership with Kitchener Cemeteries. Proceeds from this event will allow BFO-MR to continue offering community peer grief support to families through the development and enhancement of programs and services.
