Celebrate a season of gardening, growth and community at Kitchener in Bloom's end-of-season celebration

From colourful flower beds and thriving vegetable gardens to pollinator-friendly spaces, Kitchener residents have spent the growing season helping neighbourhoods bloom. Now, the community is invited to come together and celebrate those efforts at the City of Kitchener's Kitchener in Bloom End-of-Season Celebration. 

Taking place on Thursday, September 24, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Victoria Park Pavilion, this free community event will bring together gardeners, families and green space enthusiasts from across the city to connect, learn and celebrate another successful growing season. 

Participants will have the opportunity to chat with local gardening organizations, listen to educational talks with horticultural experts, connect with other gardeners, enjoy family-friendly activities and enter prize draws. Light refreshments will also be available. 

Kitchener in Bloom recognizes the important role residents play in beautifying neighbourhoods, supporting biodiversity and creating vibrant, welcoming green spaces throughout the city. Whether tending to a backyard garden, growing vegetables, planting native species or caring for a community garden plot, residents help make Kitchener a greener and more sustainable city. 

The end-of-season celebration offers an opportunity to recognize these contributions while bringing together gardeners of all experience levels to share ideas, learn from one another and find inspiration for future growing seasons. 

Residents are encouraged to reserve their spot in advance by registering through Eventbrite.
