Featured artist at the Williamsburg Gallery

Luke Hodgson

We are very excited to announce that the Williamsburg Community centre is currently showcasing the art of Luke Hodgson! Luke is a self-taught artist that became interested in drawing and painting at a young age.  In late 2018, Luke was diagnosed with a rare muscle inflammatory condition resulting in muscle pain, weakness and sickness.  Luke used his drawing and painting as an outlet to express himself and channel his energy during his recovery.  Luke also decided that he wanted to give back and do something special to give back and has raised over $20 000 in support of McMaster Children’s Hospital Foundation for the sale of his artwork!

Luke’s artwork will be displayed at the Williamsburg Community Centre from October to December.   Proceeds from the sale of Luke’s art will be donated to the Food Bank of Waterloo Region and to Luke’s Community Fundraising Program.  Cash donations for the Food Bank of Waterloo Region will also be accepted.
