Kingsdale Community Centre is located at 72 Wilson Avenue.  Our 16,500 square foot facility is fully accessible with five spacious progam rooms, a large gymnasium with vaulted wood ceilings and an adjoining commercail kitchen and bar area.  Our centre is equipped to offer a wide range of programs and activities.


 City Programming
Registration for fall programming will be available online or in person starting Aug. 21 at 8:30 a.m. and program information can be found in the latest edition of Active Kitchener.
  • Youth Drop-In for youth aged 12-17 will run Thursdays, September 20 until December 20 from 7-9:30 p.m.
  • Yoga and Stretch senior fitness classe from Rockway Community Centre begins September 11.
 KNA Programs
The KNA runs the following types of programs at the centre:
  • Fitness programs
  • Children's dance and sports
  • Educational programs
  • Special events 
  • Recreation and leisure programs for all ages

Drop-in Programs:

  • Pickleball Drop-in begins Friday, Sept. 14.  $2 per play.  See KNA Fall newsletter for dates, times and cancellations.
  • Indoor Bocce will run Thursdays, Sept. 20 to Dec. 13.  50 cents per play.
  • Senior Cards runs on Mondays and Tuesdays starting on Monday, Sept. 10. $1 per visit.

 Partner Programs
We partner with the House of Friendship to offer the following services at our centre:
  • Support for families with children
  • Social and educational programs
  • Community Food Distribution program:  An appointment based food distribution for families in need to receive fresh produce, non-perishable goods and other foods as available.  Maximum two appointments per month.  Call 519-748-6463 x 224 or email to make an appointment.

KNA FREE Crafts and Matinee Movie

PD Days: September 21, October 26, November 16

Crafts begins at 11:30 a.m. and movie begins at 1:30 p.m.

Come with your family, friends and neighbours to attend a free craft activity and stay for a movie at the community centre!   Bring a lunch and don’t forget a pillow or blanket.  Refreshments are available for purchase.   Open to all ages and no registration required.  Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

KNA Annual Halloween Party

Saturday Oct. 27, 2018 from 1-3 p.m.

Cost: $2.00 per person

Come and join us for spooky games and some Halloween fun. Snacks provided. Tickets available at front desk.  Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

KNA Annual Christmas Party 

Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018 from 1-4 p.m.

Join us for Christmas and holiday fun. Visit with Santa, enjoy some games and refreshments.  Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.  This event is free (there is no gift this year).  Tickets available at front desk.

Kingsdale has installed a new hydration station!  To date it has helped eliminate waste from 321 disposable water bottles!!!

  • Registration for fall programs is available online or in person starting Aug. 21 
  • Registration for a Christmas Hamper and/or gifts from the Chritmas Bureau will be at Kingsdale on the following dates:
    • Tuesday Nov. 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
    • Thursday Nov. 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
    • Wednesday Nov. 21 from 4 to 8 p.m.


Kingsdale Community Centre is available to rent for meetings and special events. The centre is fully accessible and conveniently located within close walking distance of public transit. Visit Grand River Transit for route information and schedules.

Centre hours

This weekend the centre is closed at 5 p.m. on Friday, closed on Saturday and Sunday.


Kingsdale Community Centre regular hours begin Monday Sept. 10:

Monday to Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The centre is closed on Sundays, but available for rent.


Wilson Splash Pad open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. 7 days a week
