Kingsdale Community Centre is located at 72 Wilson Avenue.  Our 16,500 square foot facility is fully accessible with five spacious progam rooms, a large gymnasium with vaulted wood ceilings and an adjoining commercail kitchen and bar area.  Our centre is equipped to offer a wide range of programs and activities.


 City Programming
Registration for winter programming will be available online or in person starting Nov. 20 at 8:30 a.m. and program information can be found in the latest edition of Active Kitchener.
  • Youth Drop-In for youth aged 12-17 will run Thursdays, Jan. 10 until May 30 from 7-9:30 p.m.
  • Yoga and Stretch senior fitness class from Rockway Community Centre begins Jan. 8.
  • Functional Fitness class from Rockway Community Centre begins Jan. 2.
  • Oil Painting starts Jan. 10.
  • Senior Cards Drop-In runs Mondays for Euchre and Tuesdays for Solo.  $1.00 per visit. Starts Jan. 7.
 KNA Programs
The KNA runs the following types of programs at the centre:
  • Fitness programs
  • Children's dance and sports
  • Educational programs
  • Special events 
  • Recreation and leisure programs for all ages

Drop-in Programs:

  • Pickleball Drop-in begins Jan. 7.  $2 per play.  See KNA Winter newsletter for dates, times and cancellations.
  • Indoor Bocce will run Jan. 10.  50 cents per play.

 Partner Programs
We partner with the House of Friendship to offer the following services at our centre:
  • Support for families with children
  • Social and educational programs
  • Community Food Distribution program:  An appointment based food distribution for families in need to receive fresh produce, non-perishable goods and other foods as available.  Maximum two appointments per month.  Call 519-748-6463 x 224 or email to make an appointment.

KNA FREE Crafts and Matinee Movie

PD Days: January 25, March 13 (March Break) and April 12

Crafts begins at 11:30 a.m. and movie begins at 1:30 p.m.

Come with your family, friends and neighbours to attend a free craft activity and stay for a movie at the community centre!   Bring a lunch and don’t forget a pillow or blanket.  Refreshments are available for purchase.   Open to all ages and no registration required.  Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.


Kingsdale has installed a new hydration station!

Come by the centre to fill up your water bottle and say hello!!!

  • Registration for Winter programs is available online or in person starting Nov. 20
  • After Dec. 20 House of Friendship Food Distribution will stop until Jan. 7.


Kingsdale Community Centre is available to rent for meetings and special events. The centre is fully accessible and conveniently located within close walking distance of public transit. Visit Grand River Transit for route information and schedules.

Kingsdale Community Centre will be operating under reduced hours during the month of Dec.:

Dec. 10-12, 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Dec. 13, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Dec. 14, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dec. 17-18, 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Dec. 19, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dec. 20, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Dec. 21, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dec. 24, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Dec. 27-28, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dec. 31, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.


The centre will be closed Saturdays and Sundays as well as Dec. 25, Dec. 26, and Jan. 1.


Wilson Splash Pad is closed for the season.
