Kingsdale Community Centre, located at 72 Wilson Ave., has served the surrounding neighbourhood since 2011.

Conveniently located minutes off the 401, this 16,500 square-foot facility features five spacious, well-lit program rooms, a large gymnasium with vaulted wood ceilings and an adjoining commercial kitchen and bar area.

All rooms are equipped to offer a variety of programs and activities.

Centre hours

Kingsdale Community Centre is open:

Monday to Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The centre is closed on Sundays, but available for rent.

The centre will be closed on March 30 (Good Friday) and April 2 (Easter Monday).

 

Dates to remember

  • Please note: Our new online registration program - ACTIVE Net - is now up and running. To register for a program, you'll need to activate your existing account or create a new account. Visit our ACTIVE Net page to learn how.
  • Spring program registration starts Tuesday Feb, 27, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. in person or on Active Net.

Programs

City programming

  • Registration for spring programming will be available online or in person starting Feb. 27 and program information can be found in the latest edition of Active Kitchener.
  • Youth Drop-In for ages 12-17 will run Thursdays, Jan. 11 through May. 31, 7-9:30 p.m.

KNA programming

The KNA runs the following types of programs at the centre:

  • Fitness programs
  • Children's dance and sports
  • Educational programs
  • Special events
  • Recreation and leisure programs for all ages

Partner programs

We partner with the House of Friendship to offer the following services at our centre:

  • Food hamper program
  • Support for families with children
  • Social and educational programs

Available for rent

Kingsdale Community Centre is available to rent for meetings and special events. The centre is fully accessible and conveniently located within close walking distance of public transit. Visit Grand River Transit for route information and schedules.
