Select community centres are set to reopen for limited use by the end of June to provide food distribution programs, cooling centre locations and summer camps. Read more.

Parks, trails, Kitchener Golf, Kitchener Market Saturday Farmers' Market and most outdoor facilities are open. Learn more about what's open and closed.

The majority of city-run facilities, playgrounds, splash pads and pools currently remain closed.

Bridgeport Community Centre, located at 20 Tyson Dr., has been a gathering place for the surrounding community since 1970.

Located next to the Grand River and the Walter Bean Trail, and tucked in beside Tyson Park, the centre is home to one of the largest community ice rinks in the city, and features a multipurpose room and two meeting rooms that are equipped to offer a variety of programs and activities.
