Swimming Lessons and Programs

Learn to Swim lessons, specialty courses and Leadership and Lifeguarding courses are available for all ages. Refer to schedules for dates and times that courses are offered at each facility. 

Registration Information and Dates 

Register for all aquatic programs in person at City of Kitchener pools, Rockway Centre and Downtown Community Centre. Online registration is also available.

Register now for the upcoming session of programs.

Registration for Aquatic Programs begins on the following dates:

Spring 2012 - Monday January 30
Summer 2012 - Monday April 30
Fall 2012 - Wednesday August 15
Winter 2013 - Monday October 29

Aquatic Sports 

Ready to discover water sports? Stay active with our Kitchener Aquatic Sport Leagues! Players in grades 4-8 can register for our Waterpolo Team, Racing Team, Diving Team or Synchro Team. All teams are coached by qualified staff from the KW Waterpolo Club, Region of Waterloo Swim Team, KW Diving Club and KW Synchro.

The City of Kitchener also offers many other water sport programs including Learn to Play Waterpolo, Aqua Squirts, Triathlon Training and Masters Swim Team. More information on all our watersport programs is available in Leisure or at City of Kitchener pools.

The City of Kitchener's affiliated aquatic sport groups provide many opportunities to participate in water sports at an advanced level. Please contact the groups below for more information on aquatic sports in the community.
