What would I do?

As a Leisure Support Volunteer you would provide one-on-one support to a person with a disability who would like assistance participating in a recreational activity. The person can be any age and they might participate in any kind of activity from swimming lessons, to teen drop-ins, to aquafit/exercise classes, and more.

When would I volunteer?

Volunteers are needed to support individuals attending daytime, evening, and weekend programs. You can choose to support someone who is participating at a time, day of the week, and location that is convenient for your schedule.

Where would I volunteer?

All volunteers are placed in program at City of Kitchener and City of Waterloo facilities.
