Kitchener says thanks

We have always been a community that takes pride in working together and helping each other, and these unprecedented times are no different. Whether they are showing gratitude for our essential workers, or thanking their friends and family for kind gestures, Kitchener residents have been quick to share the countless examples of how others are caring for one another.

Help us continue to bring the community together with #KitchenerSaysThanks - a four-week live series and poster initiative.

Show us what you’re thankful for!

Let us know about the great things you’ve seen, kind things that people have done, or things that bring you some joy by illustrating it in our #KitchenerSaysThanks poster. Download the poster, print it off, and make it your own!

Download the poster

Share it on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with #KitchenerSaysThanks and put it up in your window for all of your neighbours to see. You can also fill out our Instagram story version of the poster and post it to your story!

#KitchenerSaysThanks live series

Join us Tuesday mornings at 11 a.m. and Thursdays at 7 p.m. as local artists show their thanks for the community through our weekly #KitchenerSaysThanks  live concert and programming series. The Tuesday programming is intended for kids and the Thursday programming is suitable for the whole family.

Performances and activities will be streamed live via the City of Kitchener's Facebook events.
