Back to SearchKitchener – In honour of National Youth Week, each year the City of Kitchener teams up with several partner groups to present Young@rt, a free event formally celebrating the talents of some of our community's most artistic youth aged 25 and under.
Please join us on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m, at the Waterloo Region Museum, where our local youth will be sharing their artistic creations and talents. This annual talent showcase features some of the area’s best young artists, who express themselves through visual art, music, dance and digital-storytelling.
Whether you want to attend to participate in the available workshops and drum circles offered, or simply view the beautiful artistic creations of our younger generation, there is something for everyone to be inspired by and enjoy at this event. After the event, the art from these young participants will be placed on display for public viewing at Kitchener City Hall in the Berlin Tower Artspace.
Doors open at 6 p.m. We hope to see you there!
