Get ready to rock this summer at Kitchener’s favourite free outdoor music festival! Wayback Festival returns to the city this July 26 and 27. For the first time ever, we’re bringing you two days of hits on our open-air stage, along with local food and drinks to create the perfect weekend celebration.
The festival opens with our Tribute to Classic Rock night on Friday, with hits from Foreigner (performed by Jukebox Heroes) and Bon Jovi (performed by Keep The Faith). On Saturday, Canadian legend Tom Cochrane takes the stage with classics like “Life is a Highway” and “No Regrets”. He’ll be joined by Spoons and U.N. Jefferson for an unforgettable night of music! The stage will also host some of our incredible local artists, with performances from John Maksym and Hyness on Saturday. Whether you come to enjoy your favourite artists or discover a brand-new sound, this is a weekend you won’t want to miss.
While you tap your toes to the music, enjoy the flavours of the season from our lineup of local food trucks, or grab a drink at our licensed bar area. Our many wonderful local patios will also be open to enjoy a meal al-fresco while rocking out to the tunes.
Brand new this year, we’re offering a VIP package to level up your Wayback Festival experience. Take in the music from the exclusive VIP viewing area, enjoy complimentary food on Saturday, pick up a cold drink from the private cash bar, and complete your experience with washrooms and an entrance only for our VIP guests. A very limited number of tickets go on sale Friday, July 5 and won’t last long, so pick up yours before they’re gone!
