Step back in time with vintage cars and live music at Cruising on King

Classic cars will line King St. once again on Friday, July 12 as Cruising on King returns to Kitchener. This free outdoor street party is a local favourite and this year it's bigger and better than ever!

Over half a kilometer of King Street in the heart of Downtown Kitchener will be home to 100 vintage cars. Take a trip back in time as you wander the street and see everything from hot rods to vintage Corvettes, classic Volkswagen Beetles and more. 

Our open-air stage will host your favourite hits from The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, with live performances by The Beatle Band and Beggars Banquet. You may even recognize a familiar voice, with former CHYM FM and 570 News DJ Glenn Pelletier returning to the region as The Beggars Banquet’s Mick Jagger. Enjoy the music while sipping on a cold drink from our licensed bar area, sample the flavours of the season from local food trucks, or visit one of downtown’s incredible patios. Come for dinner and stay the whole evening as you explore everything Cruising on King has in store!

Cruising on King will take place from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, July 12 along King St. between Water St. and Frederick St. Whether you plan a date night, enjoy an evening out with friends, explore with the whole family, or treat yourself to some me-time, don’t miss this trip into the past!
