About the Roos Island Music Series

We are excited to kick off the inaugural season of the Roos Island Music Series on the newly renovated bandstand! This free series will fill Victoria Park with music for all to enjoy from many of our community’s incredible artists. Experience the range of talent the Waterloo Region music scene has to offer while enjoying the peace and calm of the park. Bring a lawn chair or picnic for a perfect afternoon or evening out!

All performances will be at the bandstand on Roos Island in Victoria Park. Public washrooms and other public facilities are available in the park. Visit our Victoria Park page to learn more about the features and facilities in the park.

However you get downtown, there are options available:

Transit

Hop off the ION at either the Kitchener City Hall or Victoria Park station for a quick walk. Central Station is a short walk away, as well.

Vehicle and bike parking

Parking is available in the Duke and Ontario parking garage, City Hall parking garage (after August 6), and other City of Kitchener parking lots around Downtown Kitchener. Visit our parking locations page to find somewhere to park.

The City Hall parking garage will be closed for maintenance and not available for use between July 2 and August 6, 2024.

Secure bike parking is available in the Duke and Ontario parking garage, or in the City Hall parking garage after August 6.
