Celebrate with us! Join City of Kitchener staff and resident groups on Wednesday, July 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Victoria Hills Community Centre, for a celebration of LoveMyHood’s remarkable journey over the years with an evening of free live music, children's activities, family fun, food, and an outdoor movie at dusk. Mayor Berry Vrbanovic and ward councillors will be in attendance for a special announcement.

Connect with neighbourhood leaders who will share their stories and how they transformed their ideas into a reality in their neighbourhood.  Stop by the LoveMyHood booth to learn more about the program and how to apply for a grant.

LoveMyHood supports resident-led, city-supported neighbourhood projects. Together, we are achieving our goal of creating great places, connecting people, and encouraging neighbours to work together - one neighbourhood project at a time.

Since 2017, the City of Kitchener’s Love My Hood program has been bringing residents together to make great things happen in neighbourhoods across the city with the support of a LoveMyHood Matching Grant. To date, this funding has supported over 180 resident-led events, programs, and projects across Kitchener. Together, with residents, we have transformed public spaces, strengthened community bonds, and enriched our shared environment.
