With so many diverse programs being offered this fall, the City of Kitchener is currently recruiting approximately 100 enthusiastic and dedicated program leaders and certified fitness instructors to run recreation and leisure programs at its community centres starting in September 2024 through late spring and summer 2025.
Applications are currently being accepted until Monday, Aug. 19 for the following program instructor and leader opportunities:
- Activity Class Monitor (sports, after school programs)
- Child & Youth Program Leaders
- Inclusion Support Worker
- Recreation Assistant
- Art Instructor (drawing, painting, pottery)
- Dance Instructor (line dancing, ballroom)
- Fitness Instructor (weights/core, Zumba or cardio/music)
- Music Instructor (piano, guitar)
- Special Interest Instructor (technology, cooking)
- Sport Instructor (basketball, dodgeball, floor hockey)
- Yoga, Meditation, Nia Instructor
