Back to SearchKITCHENER – Tonight Council approved the agreement between the City and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 636. The deal was ratified by union members on Thursday, November 5, 2020. IBEW 636 represents 61 full time utility workers.
The one-year collective agreement runs April 1, 2020 - March 31, 2021 and takes effect immediately. It provides a salary adjustment of 1.6% and no benefit enhancements. The previous contract expired March 31, 2020.
