The City of Kitchener wants to hear from adults, ages 55 and up, about the programs we offer at City of Kitchener community centres. From cardio, badminton, guitar, yoga, karate, painting, tech, billiards, dance, social activities and more, the options are limitless!

From now until March 19, 2023, residents ages 55+ are invited to participate in a survey that will help us understand their interests and priorities for active living and what programs would best meet their needs. Feedback gathered will be used to guide, improve and create new social, recreational and fitness programs in neighbourhoods across the city.

This is an important step towards Kitchener’s age-friendly vision of a community where we can all live well and age well. Age-Friendly Kitchener focuses on four key areas - wellness, active living, learning and connecting. Through this engagement, we will be exploring all types of programs that today’s older adult might be interested in.

Whether you are thinking of your future, retired or semi-retired, this is a great chance to have your voice heard. If you are an informal care partner to an older adult, you may also take part in the survey.

Learn more or share your thoughts at engagewr.ca/olderadults. Survey closes March 19, 2023.
