Back to SearchKITCHENER – The City of Kitchener is excited to invite residents back to The Aud to support the annual Downtown Kitchener Ribfest in a new drive-thru style event.
From 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. on both Saturday, August 15 and Sunday, August 16, drive in to The Aud from the Ottawa Street entrance, select the ribber of your choice, order, pay, and receive your order all from the safety of your own vehicle.
Downtown Kitchener Ribfest will also be offering a fast-pass for each day to allow event goers to skip the line. Fast-passes can be purchased on the event website.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and public health regulations, the event format is drive-thru only and all food should be enjoyed off-site.
While COVID-19 has forced the festival to alter how food is offered for the safety of staff and visitors, the community will still enjoy the same tasty food they’ve come to expect every year.
Cash or non-perishable food donations will be accepted for the Food Bank of Waterloo Region. Attendees are encouraged to support our local food bank during these challenging times.
