City Hall
Kitchener City Hall will be closed for the Civic Holiday on Monday, Aug. 7. Services normally offered by staff will be available again starting Tuesday, Aug. 8, at 8:30 a.m.
Pools and splashpads
City of Kitchener splashpads and outdoor pools are open on Monday, Aug. 7:
- Harry Class outdoor pool: kitchener.ca/harryclass
- Idlewood outdoor pool: kitchener.ca/idlewood
- Kiwanis Park and Pool: kitchener.ca/kiwanis
- Wilson outdoor pool: kitchener.ca/wilson
- City splashpads: kitchener.ca/splashpads
Indoor pools are closed on Monday, Aug. 7.
Kitchener Market
The Kitchener Market is open for the farmers’ market on Saturday, Aug. 5, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The market will be closed as usual on Sunday, Aug. 6 and Monday, Aug. 7.
Kitchener Public Library
All Kitchener Public Library locations will be closed on Sunday, Aug. 6 and Monday, Aug. 7.
Community centres
All community centres will be closed on Monday, Aug. 7.
Kitchener Golf
Doon Valley and Rockway golf courses are open on Monday, Aug. 7. Visit kitchenergolf.ca to book a tee time.
The Aud and community arenas
The Aud will be open for the BTC Fight Night Kitchener on Saturday, Aug. 5, and the Kitchener Panthers home game on Sunday, Aug. 6. The Aud will be closed on Monday, Aug. 7.
Activa Sportsplex, Sportsworld and Grand River Arena will be open on the evening of Monday, Aug. 7, for pre-booked rentals.
Budd Park
Budd Park indoor sports facility and offices will be closed on Monday, Aug. 7, while the outdoor sports fields will be open for scheduled rentals.
