KITCHENER – The City of Kitchener will offer programming for children ages 4 to 10 in the event of a one-day closure of all schools in the Waterloo Region District School Board on Wednesday, Dec.4. Starting today, parents can register their children to participate in day programming taking place at the Lions Arena.
Lions Arena Camp will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Space in the program is limited and the cost to participate is $25. Parental or guardian drop off and pick up is required. In the event the camp does not run, a full refund will be issued to registrants.
During camp, children will participate in active games and enjoy creative crafts, while interacting with their peers and enhancing their interpersonal skills. Participants are asked to come with a nut-free lunch, snacks and a water bottle.
