KITCHENER – Dealing with a second wave of COVID-19 is challenging our community to stay the course and follow public health guidelines for our health and safety. Changing our normal lifestyles for the well-being of our community hasn’t been easy.
To encourage community members through the second wave of the pandemic, the City is uniting with local figures to promote messages of well-being.
Some residents may notice many of these famous Kitchener-natives.
Teaming up to inspire residents to wash their hands to reduce the risk of spreading the virus, are World Champion boxers Mandy Bujold and brothers Syd and Fitz Vanderpool.
Encouraging community members to show kindness and compassion with one another are local radio personalities Mike Farwell, Kat Callaghan and Scott Fox.
Other messages remind residents how to stay safe and well including wearing a mask, physical distancing and how to support local small businesses safely.
We all have a part to play to keep our community healthy during this time. Doing our best individually, will bring us back stronger. We are #KitchenerTogether.
