With summer around the corner, and parents and guardians looking for ways to keep their children entertained, the City of Kitchener is offering a variety of fun, affordable camp options for children of all ages and interests.
Finding the right summer camp can be challenging for kids and parents, especially with so many options to choose from. The City's summer camps offer:
- A variety of neighbourhood-based camps for those ages 4-11years old and specialty arts and sports camp for those ages 9-13 years old.
- Active games, indoor and outdoor play, water days, sports, arts and crafts, science activities, environment, special guests and more.
- A great experience for children to discover new interests, build friendships and stay active through quality programming.
- Low camp fees.
Our goal is to make city-run programs accessible to everyone. If your child has a disability and needs help to take part in a program, you can request inclusion support at www.kitchener.ca/inclusion. Visit our leisure access page to apply for fee assistance at www.kitchener.ca/feeassistance. Some camps also offer before and aftercare to make drop-off and pick-up times more convenient.
