KITCHENER – Over the summer months, the City of Kitchener will be asking residents how we’re doing when it comes to delivering great service.

“We’re committed to providing great service experiences, whether you register for a program at a community centre, apply for a building permit, or engage with the City on social media,” says Christine Baker, project manager, customer service, City of Kitchener.  “It’s something we take a lot of pride in, but we know that there is always room to keep improving and growing.”

Watch for staff at local events and City facilities this summer, starting with Neighbours Day on Saturday, June 9 for your opportunity to tell us what exceptional service means to you and what we can do to serve Kitchener right. If you don’t catch us there, we’ve got a number of other ways you can connect with us, too. You can provide your feedback through our online survey, through e-mail, or by leaving a message at 519-741-2200 ext. 7800.

The campaign kicked off with a statistically representative Environics survey asking residents about their satisfaction with City services and their service experiences. “The survey uncovered some very good news - 88 per cent of citizens were either very or somewhat satisfied with our services overall,” explains Jana Miller, director customer service, City of Kitchener. “It also helped us understand where residents saw opportunities for us to improve, and that’s what we’ll be asking more about this summer.”
