Back to SearchKITCHENER – A number of city facilities have modified hours over the Easter weekend. Offices at Kitchener City Hall are closed on Friday, March 30 and Monday, April 2, for the Easter holidays. Services normally offered by staff will be available again on Tuesday, April 3 at 8:30 a.m. The building itself will remain open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. as it does on all holidays and weekends.
KITCHENER MARKET
The Kitchener market is closed on Friday, March 30, Sunday, April 1, and Monday, April 2, as it is always closed on Mondays. The Saturday market, featuring upstairs and downstairs vendors plus Easter-themed activities, will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 31.
KITCHENER PUBLIC LIBRARY
All Kitchener Public Library locations are closed on Friday, March 30; Sunday, April 1, and Monday, April 2, re-opening on Tuesday, April 3.
POOLS
All aquatic facilities, with the exception of Breithaupt Centre, are closed on Friday, Sunday and Monday, but are open for regular hours on Saturday, March 31. Breithaupt is closed the entire weekend for annual maintenance.
COMMUNITY CENTRES
Community centres are closed Friday through Monday, except Doon Pioneer Park, which is closed for expansion and renovation. Downtown, Forest Heights and Williamsburg community centres, and Rockway Centre are closed Friday and Monday.
Country Hills is open on Monday afternoon for scheduled programming.
ARENAS
Select community arenas are open for rentals. The outdoor rink in Carl Zehr Square is now closed for the season.
Public skating and other community ice programming are available at www.kitchener.ca/skatingschedule.
The Aud is open; however, the administration office is closed during regular office hours on March 31 and April 2.
Activa Sportsplex and the Lyle S. Hallman walking track are open.

BUDD PARK
Budd Park will be closed Friday, March 30 through Monday, April 2 for the Easter holiday weekend.
