Rockway Centre


Rockway Community Centre, located at 1405 King St. E., has been offering programs and services to adults in our community since 1975.

Featuring an auditorium and nine program rooms, the centre is equipped to offer a wide range of activities to individuals and groups.

Centre hours

Mondays and Wednesdays, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Fridays, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Our centre is closed every weekend, but available for private rentals.

The centre will be closed Friday, March 30 and Monday, Apr. 2 for Easter 


Join us for Movie Mondays at Rockway on the first and last Monday of each month. Show time is 1:p.m. and tickets are $2.00.  Coming up this month:

Our NEW Kitchener group card makes taking part in leisure activities even easier for adults age 55 and older. You no longer need a VIP membership to register for city-direct programs.

 Dine at the Rock

Join us for lunch at Rockway Centre. The menu changes each day (see below for details). All meals include soup/salad, main entree, dessert and coffee/tea. Lunch is served at 11: 45 a.m. To reserve a spot or cancel a reservation, call 519-741-2507 24 hours in advance. Takeout is available upon request for pickup after 12:15 p.m. 

Lunch - $10.26 
Speciality lunch - $11.26, specials are paid in advance, no refunds

If you missed lunch, you can take home a meal from the Rock Freezer.

The facility offers a large auditorium with capacity for 150 is perfect for special birthday and anniversary parties, as well as other special events; while our meeting rooms are perfect for conferences, business and group meetings, with space to accommodate from 14 to 80 people.
