Select community centres set to open

Select community centres are set to reopen for limited use by the end of June to provide food distribution programs, cooling centre locations and summer camps. Read more.

Parks, trails, Kitchener Golf, Kitchener Market Saturday Farmers' Market and most outdoor facilities are open. Learn more about what's open and closed.

The majority of city-run facilities, playgrounds, splash pads and pools currently remain closed.

The Mill Courtland community has been enjoying programs and activities at Mill Courtland Community Centre since 1986.

Located at 216 Mill St., the centre features a small, single gymnasium and two program rooms.

The Mill-Courtland neighbourhood association, Highland-Stirling community group and Cedar Hill community group run their programs at our centre.


  • Children's programs including: preschool, parent and tot, parenting puzzle, ballet, hip hop jazz, Irish dance, judo, youth basketball, just4girls, mixed mediums, girls running group, soccer, make it yourself in the kitchen, Lego, ozobots, food skills, SHYFT, youth group, and guitar club.
  • Adult programs including: pilates, yoga, gentle fitness, walking group, judo, wobbel yoga, parent & baby yoga, zumba, pound, sewing, knitting, book club, support groups and parenting programs, cooking classes and card groups.
  • Halloween Party, Family Breakfast with Santa, and Garage Sale.
  • Coffee house (Sept. - June)
