Kitchener responds to COVID-19

COVID-19 UPDATES text in corner.

All city buildings are closed to the public until May 31 and all programs and events are cancelled up to and including June 30.

The City of Kitchener’s response to public health emergencies is led by Region of Waterloo Public Health. We have full confidence in our local healthcare system and are committed to working closely with local hospitals, health care and community partners, the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, Public Health Ontario and national partners to monitor and respond accordingly to the COVID-19 situation.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve around the world and in our local community, the health and wellbeing of Kitchener residents remains our top priority.
