The Kitchener Fire Department public education division are committed to providing our community with necessary information about fire safety. There are many hazards that you and your family should be aware of – whether it is cooking precautions, understanding your smoke/CO alarms in your home, or just general safety tips, our public education division is here to provide you with the knowledge needed to be safe.

Community Education Services

Event bookings
Due to COVID-19 related physical distancing and health and safety measures, tours of fire halls and trucks are not possible at this time. There may be occasions where we can organize virtual tours for larger groups. Please complete our request form and we can work together to try and find solutions. 
 Public education materials

Due to overwhelming demand, home delivery of public education materials is temporarily unavailable while we restock our supplies.
