In Office: 2018 - present

Christine is a lifelong resident of Kitchener and has been proud to call Ward 4 home for the past 24 years. She is experienced in communications and public relations, having worked at the Waterloo Record for 26 years.

In addition to her time informing the public on the issues of the day, she has made significant contributions to the City of Kitchener. Prior to being elected she was a member of many city committees, including: the Economic Development Advisory Committee and Downtown Action Advisory Committee, K-W Oktoberfest, the Centre in The Square Board, the Food4Kids Waterloo Wellington Board, the 20,000 Homes Canada Campaign, Junior Achievement, and Big Brothers and Sisters.

Two decades of community involvement coupled with a strong background in communications uniquely position Christine positioned to be an active, fair voice for the people of Ward 4.

Although she will work to represent her constituents in all matters, she is especially focused on infrastructure, responsible development, connecting neighbourhoods, transportation and building a sustainable community.

Christine believes that a connected community creates a better neighbourhood. As councillor, she demonstrates financially responsible decision-making and listens to her community’s priorities.
