Plan of subdivision


Developers who want to divide land into two or more parcels for selling need a plan of subdivision in hand before beginning their work. This will ensure the planned subdivision aligns with our community's growth management strategy and complements the area.

If you intend to subdivide land in our city, please contact our planning staff to discuss your proposal. A pre-submission consultation meeting will be scheduled to determine if your proposed plan of subdivision or vacant land condominium conforms with our community plans, existing services, and other policies and guidelines.  You will then be asked to complete a plan of subdivision / vacant land condominium application.

An additional application may also be necessary if you require a modification to a draft approved plan of subdivision.
