City of Kitchener Rotunda Gallery Exhibition Program

Located on the ground floor of City Hall at 200 King Street West in downtown Kitchener, the Rotunda Gallery features monthly exhibits of the work of regional artists.
2010 Rotunda Gallery artists
The Rotunda Gallery is an open-concept space welcoming visitors seven days a week. The gallery’s hanging wall has a 48’ picture rail and 48” of vertical hanging space. Practicing visual artists from the Kitchener-Waterloo region who are building professional curriculum vitae are encouraged to apply for a Rotunda Gallery show.
The City advertises an annual call for month-long exhibition opportunities in the gallery. A jury of arts professionals selects the successful proposals. The competition for 2011 exhibitions will be advertised here during the summer of 2010.
Each May, the Rotunda Gallery features a High School Public Art exhibition. Local schools compete for this exhibition opportunity, and a jury selects the successful school.
Every second year the gallery features the work of Contemporary Art Forum Kitchener and Area (CAFKA).
