Co-existing with Coyotes
Coyotes have long inhabited the cities of southern Ontario, and have been seen and heard in the south end of Kitchener, particularly in areas that border green spaces.

Coyotes do not generally pose a threat to human safety, but it is understandable that residents may have concerns and questions about coyotes in their neighbourhood.

This Fact Sheet pdf logo is meant to help address some of those concerns and provide information about how to co-exist with coyotes.

The Ministry of Natural Resources also provides this Fact Sheet pdf logo for residents.

For more information about coyotes and wildlife procedures, please contact the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources (Guelph Office) at 519-826-4955.
