Social Clubs and Organizations Bits 'n Bytes Computer Club - The club is geared to helping seniors learn more about computers. It is based at the Downtown Community Centre. Canadian Federation of University Women, Kitchener-Waterloo The club is a voluntary, non-profit, self-funded organization promoting the education and advancement of women. Visitors are welcome to attend most of our monthly speaker meetings. We also welcome new members who hold a university degree or who share an interest in our club goals. Grand Harmony Chorus of Sweet Adelines, Kitchener is a four-part A CAPPELLA chorus singing in the barbershop style. The purpose of the organization is to teach and perform the American folk art of four-part harmony, and to encourage a universal appreciation of the tradition of that music. Grand Philharmonic Choir The Grand Philharmonic family of choirs is made up of four distinct choirs - Adult, Chamber Singers, Youth and Children's. Kitchener Musical Society Band Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber Orchestra The Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber Orchestra has been a part of this area's musical community since 1985. Its 34 members consist of talented amateur musicians from all walks of life plus a core of professional players. Together they share a love of music and a commitment to excellence in performance. Kitchener-Waterloo Community Orchestra The KWCO, in existence since 1980, invites amateur musicians from our community to join us and participate in an exciting season of orchestral music. Kitchener Waterloo Field Naturalists (KWFN) Kitchener-Waterloo Philatelic Society A club for stamp collectors in the KW area. Kitchener Waterloo Skating Club Rotary Club of Kitchener Westmount The Royal Canadian Legion - Fred Gies (Ontario No. 50) Branch, is located at 524 Belmont Avenue, West, in Kitchener. The Fred Gies branch has been servicing Kitchener for 80 years, and remains an active branch today. Rotary Club of Waterloo Scottish Country Dance Club - has two annual events: In September they host an Open House and in January, A Burns' Supper. Scouts Canada - North Waterloo District Scouts Senior Years - a site specifically designed for Canadians over 50. Southwest Optimist Club The SYS (See You Sunday) Women's Group Tours of local businesses and attractions, guest speakers, crafts and volunteering; something different every week; Sundays, 12:45 p.m., 519-742-5317 email Twin City Harmonizers We are a male 4-Part Harmony Acapella group that sings in the Barbershop Style.  Waterloo Concert Band - a non-profit group in Waterloo, always looking for more musicians and people to come hear us play. Waterloo Region Newcomers and Alumnae Club - For women of all ages who are new to the Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge area (within the last 3 years).  We help you get acquainted with your new city while promoting friendships through our monthly social gatherings and activities.
