General Applications

The City of Kitchener will gladly accept general unsolicited applications at anytime. They will be kept on file for three months.

Please note:

  • Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to respond to every submission.
  • Only those candidates selected for further consideration will be contacted. Please do not contact the Human Resources Department concerning your job application.
  • Please note that to apply for a position(s) at the City of Kitchener, applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Personal information is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act and will be used for employment purposes only.
  • General applications are not applicable to Fire Fighter Recruitment. Visit the external Fire Fighter Recruitment link to apply to be a fire fighter.
