Terms & Conditions, Behaviour Management Policy and Insurance

Please take the time to read though our Terms & Conditions, Behaviour Management policy and Insurance requirements in the Sports Facility Rental Handbook.

Rental Fees

Our sports fields are ranked in different categories depending on the level of maintenance a field receives. The more features (example: irrigated fields, regular line paintings, or lights) the higher the grade. Our fields are rated either "A", "B" or "S", with "A" fields being the top grade.

"A" and "B" fields are owned and maintained by the City while "S" fields are owned by the Waterloo Region District School Board or the Waterloo Catholic District School Board.

Field conditions are updated regularly during inclement weather.  If a facility is closed due to poor field conditions and/or weather please do not use the facility.

If a field is closed by the City of Kitchener, any bookings that you may have at that location will be removed from your contract and an amendment showing the change will be emailed to you.

If a field is deemed unsafe to play by referees, umpires and/or coaches, but has not been closed by the city, please stay safe and do not use the field. In order to remove your unused booking from your contract, you must contact the facility scheduler by the following morning.
