Earth Day Canada's Eco Action Teams program provides small but meaningful steps you can take to help the environment.

By making simple changes in your everyday life driving less, saving on water use, generating less garbage and shopping more sustainably, you can create a healthy lifestyle that saves money, protects the health of your children and pets, and connects with others making the same positive changes.

To assist you, the organization has developed an easy to use, comprehensive online conservation calculator loaded with action tips you can take to reduce your impact on the environment by making green lifestyle choices. 

Visit Eco Action Calculator, create your own free member account, and be counted as one of thousands of Canadians taking action.

With the click of a button, you'll see what the results of your actions will be as a personalized conservation report is generated for you. 

And by by joining a team - such as Team Kitchener - you can challenge your friends, family, neighbours or colleagues to join you in taking simple green actions and to keep each other motivated. 

When you belong to a team or more than one team, you will be able to see a running tally of your team's savings. You can even set goals for your team to encourage more savings in GHG emissions, transport fuel, waste, energy, water and cost savings.
