King Street West

Kitchener city council has adopted a city-initiated Official Plan amendment. The amendment is now in force and effect.

Council has also approved the city-initiated zone-change application to rezone properties in the King Street West mixed-use corridor from various zone classifications to mixed-use corridor MU-2 and MU-3 zones with and without site-specific special provisions.

Council deferred a decision pertaining to the rezoning of the property municipally addressed as 617-621 King St. W., and later approved rezoning of these properties.  The approved zoning of all lands in the King Street West mixed-use corridor is now in force and effect.
