King Street East

Kitchener city council has approved the city-initiated zone-change application to rezone properties in the King Street East mixed-use corridor from various zone classifications to mixed-use corridor MU-2 and MU-3 zones with and without special provisions.

Council has also adopted a city-initiated Official Plan amendment application to modify the King Street East secondary plan and mixed use corridor land-use designation.

The Official Plan amendment and zoning bylaw are now in effect.  A copy of the zoning bylaw, Official Plan amendment and staff report are available below:
