KITCHENER – The City of Kitchener wants to start off the summer on a fun, but safe, note this Victoria Day weekend. Please abide by local regulations on lighting fireworks.
Under the City of Kitchener Municipal Code, fireworks can only be set off on Victoria Day, Canada Day and Diwali, and the day immediately before and after these holidays. Fireworks cannot be sold to anyone under the age of 18.

KITCHENER – A number of city facilities have modified hours over the Easter weekend. Offices at Kitchener City Hall will be closed on Friday, March 25 and Monday, March 28, for the Easter holidays. Services normally offered by staff will be available again on Tuesday, March 29 at 8:30 a.m. The building itself will remain open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. as it does on all holidays and weekends.

Due to the significant freezing rain the following programs have been cancelled for today - March 24.
Evening programs at Stanley Park Community Centre are cancelled. The centre will close at 5 p.m.
Youth Drop-In at KCI High School is cancelled.
Bridgeport Community Centre will close at 5 p.m. All evening programs are cancelled.
All programs at Victoria Hills Community Centre are cancelled.
All programs at Doon Pioneer Community Centre are cancelled.

KITCHENER – Monday, Feb. 15 is Family Day. Some City of Kitchener facilities are open as usual. However, offices at Kitchener City Hall will be closed. Services normally offered by staff will be available again on Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 8:30 a.m. The building itself will remain open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., as it does on all holidays and weekends.
City of Kitchener indoor pools are open, except Cameron Heights. There will be no lessons at Breithaupt, Lyle Hallman or Forest Heights pools...
