Due to the weather conditions the following programs have been cancelled for the evening:
Bridgeport Community Centre has cancelled their BCA dance class and Yoga rental for this evening, the centre will close at 6 p.m.
The Downtown Community Centre has canceled their DNA Creative Movement Class, the centre will remain open.
The Country Hills Recreation Association Volleyball program held tonight at Blessed Sacrament School has been cancelled by the School Board.

Due to extreme cold weather and poor conditions, the following programs are cancelled today:
Downtown Community Centre:
Senior's Day program is cancelled.
The Tuck Shop is closed.
This afternoon’s Bingo is closed.
All other DCC programs are running.

An extreme cold warning has been issued for Waterloo Region, and the following City of Kitchener facilities are open for the public to access as warming centres:
Kitchener City Hall, 7 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 9 a.m.-9 p.m. weekends;
Kitchener Aud, 9 a.m. -11 p.m;
Breithaupt Centre,  8 a.m.-10 p.m.;
Lyle Hallman Pool 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.;
Forest Heights Pool 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.

KITCHENER-Cdash;City of Kitchener facilities and buildings are open for the holidays as follows:
City hall
City hall offices will close at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 24 and remain closed until Friday, Dec. 27 for the statutory holidays. Offices will also be closed at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 31 and remain closed until Thursday, Jan. 2 for the statutory new year holiday.

KITCHENER -ndash; Monday, Nov. 11 is Remembrance Day, and governments and banks have a statutory holiday that day. This affects some city-owned facilities. Offices at Kitchener City Hall will be closed on Nov. 11. Services normally offered by staff will be available again on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 8:30 a.m. The building itself will remain open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. as it does on all holidays and weekends.
